3/4 Cheer Registration (3rd & 4th grade students)

A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your athlete’s spot for the 2026 White Oak Youth Cheer season.

Attendance Expectations

Attendance at camp, practices, and all games is extremely important. Missing events can impact the overall performance of the squad. If attendance is not taken seriously, consequences may include sitting out quarters, halftimes, or other portions of games.

Some games require travel, and it is crucial that athletes attend, as missing cheerleaders can affect formations and routines.

Please also consider the East Texas heat. Practices and games may take place on a black track with direct sun exposure. If your athlete struggles significantly in hot conditions, please reconsider participation.

Practices & Games

Practices are drop-off only, with pick-up once practice has concluded. If a parent feels the need to stay, please notify a coach in advance.

Games are scheduled weekly by squad. The full game schedule will be released at the end of August.

Fundraisers

Each season includes two fundraisers, and we work hard to avoid traditional fundraisers like car washes. Our primary fundraiser is a calendar fundraiser, and all proceeds go directly toward your athlete’s season fees.

Required Gear

Parents are responsible for providing white cheer shoes for the season. Some families choose to have one pair for practice and one for game days.

Athletes will also need black socks for both practices and games.

Participation Expectations

Athletes will never be forced to participate. We will encourage them; however, if an athlete refuses, they will be asked to sit out to avoid distractions for the rest of the squad.

Volunteering Requirement

Volunteering is required. One parent or guardian must sign up for one 1.5-hour shift per season, choosing from concessions, gate, announcing, or stadium cleanup.

Behavior Policy

Drama, bullying, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. Each athlete will receive one warning for inappropriate behavior. Any further incidents will result in the athlete being removed from the squad. No registration fees or payments will be refunded if an athlete is removed due to poor decisions involving bullying or harassment of another athlete.

If you have a concern, please bring it directly to a coach or contact a board member.

Payments & Waivers

Payment options include website payments, Venmo, cash, or check.

Signed waivers are required and will be provided at the April parent meeting. If you are unable to attend, it is your responsibility to ensure the waiver is signed. If a waiver is not completed, your athlete’s spot will be reassigned.
